Making sure our clients are informed and educated with their preferred software is important, so depending on what package you are on, you can meet with your bookkeeper weekly, monthly or quarterly.

I don’t use accounting software. How can it benefit my business?

We recommend using software for your bookkeeping to increase efficiency. There are numerous software platforms to choose from with different plans and pricing options. We can help you find the best software suited to your business and point you in the right direction with plans and pricing.

Does my bookkeeper lodge my BAS themselves?

Yes, Shoebox Bookkeepers are registered BAS Agents, and preparation and lodgement of your BAS is included in our monthly Business Lite Package.

I want software training; how does it work?

Making sure our clients are informed and educated with their preferred software is important, so we can come to you for a minimum of 2 hours software training, and more if need be.

Can my Shoebox bookkeeper help me prepare and lodge my tax?

Shoebox Books & Tax keeps everything under the one umbrella for our clients, so yes we can prepare and lodge your tax through our taxation and accounting services (individual and business). Your bookkeeper won't lodge your tax directly, they'll be able to help and assist the Shoebox Tax Accountant.

How is the bookkeeping package pricing structured?

We offer our all-inclusive Lite Package to all businesses at a rate of $45 AUD per week plus GST. This comprehensive package covers a wide range of quarterly financial services including profit & loss reports, consultations, and BAS lodgment. It also includes bank reconciliation for up to two accounts, monthly bookkeeping, and direct communication support. This support can be provided either through your own accountant or through our accountants at Shoebox Books and Tax.
